What is financial success?
For then, in creating all things, God also created material possessions. The water, the land, the animals, the vegetation and everything else.
That is why people have the ability - given by God - to transform the elements of nature and create things. For example, if you are now seated on a chair, know that this chair exists only because of the capacity God gave man to master creation.
However, you might ask what this has to do with money. Is that today anything you have, for example your home, your car, your computer, all this can be exchanged for money. So, if you were given the responsibility of mastering material possessions and they are represented by a financial amount, then you have a responsibility to manage - and manage well - your money.
There is another important thing to take into account. You can not transfer that obligation to another person. It is you who must do this.
Conclusion: You have been given this responsibility and the privilege of assuming the role of administrator from today. Start investing some of your time to learn more about biblical principles that can make you a good steward of the money God has put into your hand, okay?
So I went to look at the Bible to see what it says about it. And see only the pearl of wisdom that I discovered. Take a look at your Bible in the text of Genesis 2:15, which reads: The LordGod took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.
Note in this text that the work had nothing to do with sin or any kind of punishment from God for people. In fact, even before the human being fell, that is, of committing the first sin, he already worked. And that was good. At least there is no complaint about it there in Genesis.
It is clear, however, that because of sin, work has become difficult. How is that? It is because of this cause that people have to work hard to achieve the results that were once much easier. Just take a look at the text of Genesis 3:19 and you will understand this: By the sweat of your Brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken;
Yeah, who told you to do the wrong thing, right? Now you have to work hard to get the results. But God is good enough to make your work meaningful and help other people, especially when you are doing the right thing, which is what is connected to your mission here on earth.
All people need to work, except those who have some physical or mental impediment. And look at what the apostle Paul said when he wrote his second letter to the Thessalonians: For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”2 Thessalonians 3:10). Why did he say that? Was he angry at the people there? Of course not! He knew that according to God's plan we should earn our daily bread through work.
Work is a blessing when we understand that through it many people will be blessed. So we can not be lazy, right? If we fall into laziness, then we will not walk forward, but only behind. And this is not what God wants for you and your family.
Conclusion: Work is not a penalty of God for you, quite the opposite! Through work, you can help meet the needs of many people and still earn the money needed to support yourself and your family. Do your work in the best possible way, for it pleases God.
